Save a failing relationship using your brains and not just following your emotions!, If you have just broken up with someone you love, still want to be with them and believe in your heart that your relationship can be rescued , truth is you are sure going to need a plan to get them back with you.
When you want to save a failing relationship you have to confront the truth that something, somewhere, has gone wrong with the way you both feel about each other. If you were the one responsible for the break ( and have now changed your mind) you cannot escape the fact that something so unsettled you to make the break in the first place. If your ex made the break, something had changed to unsettle them and bring them to this point.
The point I am making here is that to save a failing relationship, the very first thing you have to do is move past the blame stage. It is inevitable that both of you said and did things that are out of character and that have caused hurt. Accepting your share of the blame means you can move on past the blame stage an onto the mending stage.
Having said this, what on earth can you do to start the healing process?
The next tactic you will use may same a little extreme but it is most important that you do it! You have to totally cease all communication with your ex! This means no phone calls, no facebook, no text messages and certainly no meetings!
Something you must realise that for you to have broken up there is a definite need for some real space. Both of you need time to calm down, to think things through and to start thinking about each other and miss each other.
Believe it or not, this will also start you ex not being able to stop themselves thinking about you. Suddenly not hearing from you and your new lack of interest in them are powerful psychological tools that you are really going to have to use to successfully save a failing relationship and get back with the one you love.
Don’t be put off if this all seems a little confronting to you. Indeed much of this advice probably goes against what your heart wants to do.
